Tradebuddy.online – Nigeria stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Lagos, the fell 2.05% to hit a new 1-month low.

The best performers of the session on the were Access Bank (LAGOS:), which rose 3.90% or 0.45 points to trade at 12.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Zenithbank (LAGOS:) added 2.04% or 0.60 points to end at 30.00 and Wapco (LAGOS:) was up 2.00% or 1.00 points to 51.10 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Skye Bank (LAGOS:), which fell 6.54% or 0.070 points to trade at 1.000 at the close. Union Bank LG (LAGOS:) declined 5.00% or 0.40 points to end at 7.60 and Dangote Flour Mills PLC (LAGOS:) was down 4.73% or 0.75 points to 15.10.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Lagos by 64 to 20 and 14 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.27% or 0.16 to $59.13 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.05% or 0.03 to hit $62.56 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.32% or 4.20 to trade at $1330.60 a troy ounce.

EUR/NGN was up 0.58% to 444.870, while USD/NGN unchanged 0.00% to 360.500.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.52% at 89.54.
